Oberlin College

Kohl Building, Oberlin, Ohio

Home to Oberlin College’s Conservatory of Music Jazz Studies program, the impressive 3-story, 37,000 square foot building includes a state of the art recording studio, rehearsal rooms, department offices, and the college’s extensive music archives.

The project was designed to a LEED Gold rating, and includes an advanced geothermal HVAC system that incorporates heating and cooling features through radiant panels in the ceiling, the first of its kind installed in the United States.
